Welcome to Ager Lane
we’re so glad you’re here.
Ager Lane Flower is a proudly Black and Queer Woman Owned flower farm and event space located in Big Bras d’Or, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. We are in our sophomore season on the farm and are so excited to share with you everything we’ve been working hard to create. Located on the farm is a 4 acre wildflower meadow, an one acre sunflower field, an eighteen bed cutting garden with a gothic-style greenhouse, and our wedding venue consisting of a ceremony pad amongst the wildflowers and a barn for the party. Also growing on the farm is our non-profit Nectar!

For fall 2024 we are opening the farm for elopements and small events in the greenhouse while we renovate our wedding barn to be ready for the 2025 summer season!
Our books will open for 2025 this fall.
the wedding + event space
The farm has three places to gather:
The ceremony circle - a gravel circle nestled within the 4 acre wildflower meadow looking at the view of St James Church and Kelly’s Mountain.
The barn - a 1,200 sq ft barn with large windows to capture the view of the meadow, church, ocean, & mountain.
The cutting garden - an outdoor gathering space in the centre of our raised bed specialty flower cutting garden with a 240 sq ft gothic style greenhouse.
No matter what season you’re thinking of tying the knot (or renewing your vows!) we’d love to have you by for a farm tour! As of summer 2024 the ceremony space is in and the wildflower meadow is blooming! Our cutting garden is planted, and blooming away! The greenhouse and the barn are currently under construction, and will be ready for summer 2025.
Our books for 2025 will be opening soon, and will open for 2026 on Valentines Day 2025!
